OSHAcademy® 30-hour General Industry Requirements

The prevention of accidents at work should be a key priority to everyone involved. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. In Kurdistan there is constant news of work-related incidents. In a country such as Britain, where safety training is mandatory, 1.2 million people suffer from work-related injuries yearly. This case shows that injuries are prevalent, and that the provision of proper training is not the most a company can do for its employees, but the least. A manager of a company must understand the value of competent, healthy workers, and the reputation that comes with the assurance of a reliable working environment.

Health and Safety training courses are of utmost importance to companies. The General Industrial training will ensure better protection for both employer and employee at work. Managers will be taught on how to manage health and safety better. Staff will be taught on how to follow safety policies, laws, and regulations. At the end of the training, a positive health-and-safety culture is developed, where safe working becomes second nature to everyone.
